In mid June, I received a message from a small sex toy company, Tingon. They sent me an overview of their company, their current toys, and their Kickstarter campaign for up and coming toys. I was intrigued as I really enjoy the auto-stroker and teledildonics side of this industry. I enjoy the tech, I like the toys, so I agreed to receive my first package of their gen 1 toys. Cool. A few days later, they asked if I was interested in helping launch their next gen toys by way of a product-for-review exchange. I researched their toy, went over the details, and agreed on the condition that It would not be a paid opinion, and that my views would be posted, good or bad. We all agreed, signed the paperwork, and Tingon shipped out a second package.
Here's why this was so cool to me.
At Rocky Mountain Toy Review, we were fortunate to be selected as one of only 10 official review partners worldwide for this product launch. That early access gave us the chance to spend extended time with a pre-release prototype and put it through its paces. What follows is a detailed breakdown of how the M2 performs, where it could be improved, and how to get one of these early using our exclusive links.
Part of the agreement is that I post a video unboxing and review. Well I've never done that before, but gave it my best go. Ed Wood would be proud I'm sure.
Please note, I received a pre-production release of this product. I have submitted lots of feedback, all of which is being implemented to improve the version you receive.
If you’ve been exploring the growing world of app-controlled pleasure devices, you’ve probably come across options that promise a lot but don’t always deliver where it counts. The Tingon M2 is aiming to avoid that pitfall. This handheld, motorized male masturbator was built with interactive play in mind, offering Bluetooth control, a strong internal servo motor, and multi-device syncing through the Tingon app.
Out of the box, the Tingon M2 feels like a device meant to compete in the premium market. It has a reassuring weight to it — not so heavy it becomes tiring, but substantial enough to feel like it’s built to last. The outer casing is a matte-finished ABS plastic, which doesn’t pick up fingerprints and feels comfortable in the hand.
Inside, you’ll find a stretchy silicone sleeve with a moderately textured inner canal. It strikes a good balance between sensation and comfort, providing noticeable texture without feeling too abrasive. The sleeve is removable, which makes cleaning simple, though we’ll cover that a bit later.
The Tingon M2 keeps its controls simple and intuitive. On the front, there’s a:
Power button (hold for 3 seconds to turn on or off)
Mode button to cycle through preset patterns
Single Speed button to cycle through available intensity levels
Two Turbo buttons (one on each side) for a temporary max-power boost
It’s a straightforward setup, easy to use, and intuitive. My only feedback around this was to include a visual indicator of the speed setting. Some toys have one, some don't, but I included it as a nice to have.
Rather than separate up and down speed buttons, the Tingon M2 uses a single speed button. Press it to cycle through the different power levels sequentially. It’s an efficient system, and the motor responds smoothly without sudden jumps in intensity.
The Mode button cycles through preset vibration and movement patterns. Each one offers a distinct rhythm, with some feeling steady and others ramping up and down in waves. While there’s no option to program custom sequences, the presets cover a good enough range of sensations to suit most users.
The Turbo buttons are located on either side of the toy, and pressing one instantly ramps the motor up to its maximum setting. Release it, and the device drops back to the previous speed or mode.
This feature is surprisingly handy for those moments where you want a temporary surge in intensity without messing with your current settings. In testing, it worked consistently without any noticeable delay or lag.
The Tingon M2 uses a magnetic USB charging cable that attaches securely to a port at the base of the toy. A full charge takes about 3+ hours and delivers roughly 60 minutes of continuous use. As with any pleasure product, actual battery life can vary depending on how hard and how long you push it.
A small battery indicator light on the device helps you keep track of remaining charge. It’s a small but practical feature that more toys should include. I didn't notice it at first, but it's there if you want to monitor the remaining charge.
Pairing the M2 with the Tingon app was simple. Turn on the device, open the app, and select it from the device list. Connection times were quick, and it stayed reliably connected through multiple sessions without any dropped signals.
The app itself is clean and easy to navigate. You can control:
Modes
Upper and Lower stroke limits
Speed settings
Create custom loops of pre-existing modes
It’s not cluttered with unnecessary features, and everything works with minimal input lag.
Cleaning the Tingon M2 is pretty straightforward. The silicone sleeve removes easily and can be washed with warm water and mild, unscented soap. Let it air dry fully before reinserting.
The outer shell should be wiped down with a damp cloth or toy-safe cleaning wipe. It’s not waterproof, so avoid submerging the main body. Using a good water-based lubricant during sessions is highly recommended, both for comfort and to prolong the life of the sleeve.
Strong, consistent motor power — holds up well under pressure
Clean, simple control layout with intuitive app integration
Turbo boost works immediately and reliably
Multi-device sync adds serious versatility for partner play
Battery indicator is a thoughtful touch
Smooth, gradual transitions between speeds and modes
Exclusive early review access via Tingon partnership (I'm still buzzing about this!)
No option to create fully custom motion patterns. I have confirmed their development team is working on this feature.
Some heat buildup at the top during longer, high-speed sessions
Bright LED lighting with no dimming option (though easy enough to angle away)
The Tingon M2 offers a lot of value for anyone interested in an interactive stroker that pairs seamlessly with an app. Its motor strength, responsive controls, and multi-device syncing make it an appealing choice for solo use and partner play alike.
It’s worth repeating that we were one of just 10 review sites worldwide given early access to this product. That means we had the opportunity to thoroughly test it, provide feedback directly to the manufacturer, and produce a full video review now available on our YouTube channel for anyone who wants a closer look at the device in action.
Is it perfect? Not quite. The prototype has its issues, though Tingon’s commitment to fixing it for the retail version is worth acknowledging. And while more customization options would have been welcome, the presets cover a good enough range to satisfy most users, and I appreciate the commitment to their continued app development.
Whatever wizardry they worked with the motor though is a cut above many of the other auto-strokers i've tested. It's very strong, and very smooth. I would even go so far as to say the motor beats out the Keon for precision and power. I love the Keon. So the M2 has a lot of potential.
If you’re after an app-connected, powerful, and easy-to-use interactive masturbator, the Tingon M2 is a solid pick especially for those who value reliable performance with a hint of flair.
