We’ve had the We-Vibe Ditto in our rotation for years now. I finally have a place to share my experiences! It’s We-Vibe’s smallest vibrating plug, designed to be approachable for beginners without feeling like a throwaway starter toy. And that’s exactly how I’d describe it: small, flexible, easy to wear, but still surprisingly satisfying, especially when paired with a stroker or during partnered play. Sadly, i no longer have the boxes or took photos of it for an unboxing, lesson learned.
At its widest, the Ditto comes in at just over 1 inch across. The neck is slim, the base is flexible and low profile, and the plug tapers gradually for easy insertion. This is a plug that absolutely caters to people who are new to anal play or who prefer a more subtle sensation over intense fullness.
That said, if you’re someone who’s used to larger plugs, this may feel more like a warm-up toy. For me, it works best as part of a session—either during foreplay or paired with oral, sex, or a stroker, rather than a standalone toy.
Like every We-Vibe product we’ve tested, the Ditto is made from silky smooth silicone that feels high-end and body-safe. The material is matte, not glossy, and it picks up lube well without getting overly slippery.
The base is compact but not too small. I never felt like it would get lost or shift during use. It’s comfortable for longer wear (I’ve had it in for up to 45 minutes while sitting and laying down) and doesn’t jab or press in awkward ways. That’s a big win, especially for a vibrating plug.
Here’s where the Ditto did quite well for me.
It uses the same motor as the older We-Vibe toys like the Touch and Match, meaning it leans more toward rumbly than buzzy. That’s not easy to pull off in a small form factor like this, but somehow the Ditto gets it right. On the lowest settings, it offers a deep background hum that’s easy to wear and even easier to ignore during partnered sex (in the best way). On the higher settings, it becomes more noticeable—especially when grinding or using it with a stroker.
The app-controlled functions let you toggle through patterns or set custom vibes. Pick one you like, make custom vibration patterns, or remotely control your partner from afar.
The We-Vibe app is fairly straightforard to use. You can download it from the Apple or Play store, make your account, and away you go! Connecting the toys is easy enough; hold the power button, click connect, and then playtime! You can use preset vibrations, create your own, or even have someone control your toy remotely. Unfortunately We-Vibe and Feel Connect ended their partnership a few years ago, so gone are the days of synchronised content use for this toy, at least for now. Bluetooth connectivity was spotty at best, so while it worked a little bit, roll over or drop your phone and its game over. We found the built in button worked best.
We’ve used the Ditto in a lot of different setups: during oral, while using auto-strokers, or during sex. It doesn’t get in the way, and it adds that low-level prostate tingle that makes everything more intense.
If you’re using it with a stroker, you’ll want to find a rhythm that lines up with the vibrations. The Ditto doesn’t overwhelm, so it works well with toys like the Kiiroo Onyx+. It’s also wearable in public if that’s your thing The vibration is quiet enough on low to medium that I could see someone wearing it under clothes without anyone noticing.
Cleanup is easy. Waterproof, USB charging, and a solid 90+ minutes of battery life (we’ve gotten three sessions out of it before needing a recharge).
The We-Vibe Ditto is not a toy for power users or size lovers. It’s a toy for people who want something discreet, flexible, beginner-friendly, and still worth owning. In the growing sea of vibrating plugs, Ditto manages to justify its price tag by offering premium materials, smart design, and enough rumbly strength to keep things interesting.
If you’re looking for your first vibrating plug, or a comfortable one to pair with a stroker or other toy, the Ditto is a smart pick.
